" R Fund is important to student-athletes because it is the reason we have the tools and facilities to reach our potential and its the reason some athletes are competing wearing the Scarlet Knight. R Fund gives the student-athletes at Rutgers an experience like no other. With generous scholarships, students from all over the world can come together to play the sport they love. Enhancing the student-athlete experience with world class facilities and coaches, R Fund's donors make it all happen. Student-athletes are given all the tools necessary to be great (thanks to R Fund) and with the heart and determination Rutgers Athletics will be put on the map. Allowing the student-athletes to focus on academics and training raises the potential of Rutgers Athletics a bit more.
