PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The month of March saw Rutgers Athletics supporters show their true Scarlet Knight pride. Not only did our community come together for an extremely successful six-figure showing during the 10th Annual Rutgers Giving Days, but together we were able to meet – and surpass – the overall $1 million goal for the YouKnighted campaign, a partnership with Knights of the Raritan.

With major transformation of the current college athletics landscape on the horizon, R Fund donors and Knights of the Raritan members combined to contribute a total of more than $1.3 million to YouKnighted, which will all go directly to our current and future Scarlet Knight student-athletes.

The YouKnighted campaign was launched in conjunction with a generous anonymous supporter who committed $250,000 to Knights of the Raritan. Rutgers Nation was then challenged to raise another $250,000 in one-time contributions to any Rutgers Athletics program, and an additional $500,000 match would be unlocked to hit that $1 million. Rutgers Nation went above and beyond – eclipsing the original challenge and reaching $600,000+ to surpass $1.3 million.

"You not only exceeded our expectations, but blew past them, and we totaled an outstanding $1.3 million in contributions. You came together and more than doubled the original goal of $250,000, unlocking $500,000 more to YouKnighted. Our student-athletes and coaches cannot thank you enough for your generosity. This will continue to assist us in our goal to recruit and retain the best and brightest here On the Banks."

*Any contributions made towards Knights of the Raritan are not eligible for 2025 Football and 2025-26 Winter Sport Priority Points and minimum donation parking requirements. Knights of the Raritan contributions will be included in future Rutgers Athletics lifetime giving totals.
