PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Scarlet Knights fans and R Fund members, make sure to save the date as we prepare for the 10th Annual Rutgers University Giving Days! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 12, and Thursday, March 13.

Our student-athletes put in the hard work in competition, in the community and in the classroom, and coming up on March 12-13, it is now YOUR opportunity to give back. Any gift, no matter the size, makes a difference in supporting our current student-athletes and helps our staff continue to recruit future Scarlet Knight standouts.

  In addition to supporting our various varsity athletics Program Funds, R Student Success and R B1G Build, we will also have three donor matching campaigns:

• Scarlet Knights for Life^TM is grateful to have an anonymous supporter who has challenged the RU community to support a program that provides career and leadership development, image enhancement and community engagement opportunities — basically everything outside the lines — for Rutgers' 700-plus student-athletes. These experiences help our Scarlet Knights practice and perfect the skills needed to be successful during their collegiate careers, as well as in life after sport. Every gift to Scarlet Knights for Life^TM will be matched 1:1 up to $10,000 and will help SKFL provide top-of-the-line development opportunities for our student-athletes.
• Rutgers Men's Lacrosse has an anonymous supporter who is challenging the RU community to make a difference. Every gift to the program during Giving Days will be matched 1:1 up to $25,000, and will make a lasting impact on our men's lacrosse student-athletes.
• Rutgers Women's Rowing is, for the first time in program history, gearing up to send a select group of student-athletes to compete in the historic Henley Royal Regatta this summer in London. In honor of the program's 50-year anniversary, an anonymous supporter is challenging the RU community to send our top boats, with every gift to the program being matched 2:1 up to $50,000, unlocking an additional $100,000 for the program.
