PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Feb. 26, 2019) – Rutgers Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development
Carly Northup announced the addition of four full-time members to the R Fund staff.
Andrew Bauschelt has been named the Associate Director of Development for Major Gifts.
Michael Greengarten, a 2014 Rutgers grad and four-year member of the Scarlet Knights' marketing and fan experience department, assumes the role of Assistant Director of Development for Communications and Engagement.
Nicole Necci serves as the Assistant Director of Athletic Development for Events and Stewardship.
Emily Tome takes over as the newest Athletic Development Coordinator.
"R Fund has added four incredibly talented individuals to our growing team to match the expanding importance of development to support the educational needs of our student-athletes and building a championship culture 'On the Banks," Northup said. "Along with the additions of these industry professionals, positions were created and restructured to better serve the supporters of the Scarlet Knights with priority-driven responsibilities."
Bauschelt's primary duties are to build and grow relationships with supporters of Rutgers Athletics while advancing the major gift fundraising priorities of the department. Prior to Rutgers, Bauschelt worked at Virginia Tech as a fundraiser within the Hokie Club and was part of an annual fund team that generated $16.2 million in revenue for the 2017 giving cycle.
Greengarten has bled Scarlet since he was three years old attending Rutgers men's basketball games with his father. The lifelong fan went on to earn undergraduate and graduate degrees from Rutgers and served as his alma mater's Director of Marketing and Fan Experience since 2015. In his new role, Greengarten will spearhead communications efforts, assist with sport specific giving campaigns, and operate R Fund's digital and social media presence.
Necci organizes and executes all R Fund special events and stewardship efforts. A Lock Haven women's lacrosse alumnus, Necci promptly launched a career in college athletics administration working in marketing, communications and development. Most recently, she served as the assistant director of development at La Salle, cultivating and stewarding more than 75 major gift prospects and organizing more than 60 events over a two-year span.
Tome supports the R Fund office by providing customer service to all donors and assisting with all facets of the department's operations. She previously worked in fan engagement with NBC Sports Philadelphia and spent three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles working in Fan Services.
In addition,
Elizabeth McAuliffe and
Masona Lam have earned promotions within the department. McAuliffe elevates to Associate Director of Development after serving on staff since 2013 as Development Coordinator, Development Assistant, and most recently as Assistant Director. Lam, previously a development intern in 2015 and the most recent Development Coordinator, moves up to Development Associate.
